The Winter Solstice is once again upon us, and has been celebrated for centuries around the globe. In the Northern Hemisphere it occurs on or around December 21st and is the beginning of the winter season. The Winter Solstice is a promise of a gradual return of the sun after a prolonged period of darkness and is a journey into that darkness with the promises of light with the next new dawn.
The Winter Solstice of 12/21 happens at 11:28 a.m. ET during a Saturn transit revealing our own limitations, fears and responsibilities in the sign of Capricorn (hard work and ambition). Winter solstice represents the shortest day of the year and the longest night when we celebrate the rebirth of light with an emphasis on our Divine mission.
The code that occurs in the numbers 12, 21 and 1128, which all break down to the number 3, carries the vibration of communication and expression. Since we are still in Mercury Retrograde, which rules communication, this is an extremely important day in which to communicate and plan out your mission for 2018. Talk loudly about what you want to manifest.
The number 3 is crucial here because during the Solstice, it’s the time to map out and set your priorities for the next “3” years. The foundations that you build now will have a major impact on your life, especially in your career and business. Take time out today to set your intentions at a soul level that will be meaningful and be impactful beyond your immediate expectations.
Set up the light from within your soul and see into your future self.
The Sun Stands Still
The sun stands at the edge of the abyss.
Darkness passes the baton to that called the light.
While we eagerly await the arrival of light,
the dark suddenly disappears.
We are immediately warmed in a bath of sunlight.
Our fears and anxieties are removed.
For a moment, while the sun stands still between the light and the dark,
we are released into a stream of ecstasy.
